Bhringraj: The ‘King of Herbs,’ Bhringraj is one of nature’s best gifts used since time immemorial in Ayurveda for improving hair health. It enhances blood circulation, promotes hair growth, treats dandruff & dry scalp, and prevents hair fall. Leaves from the bhringraj plant are mixed and heated with a carrier taila to produce bhringraj taila. Bhringraj can also be found in capsule or powder form.

HOW TO USE:
- Apply to the scalp and hair. Leave it for a minimum of 1 hour and wash.
- Men and women of age 10 years and above can use the oil.
- Suitable for all hair types.
Patients should not do nasal administration of the Bhringraj taila in cases when they have acute pulsating pain, or burning sensation in the scalp or head. Use of Bhringraj taila is safe but its application through nasal administration can cause certain side effects. Some of the side- effects that can be caused include throat irritation, sneezing, headache, nasal irritation and burning sensation in the nose. The taila should not be left overnight on the scalp as it can cause cold, and cough.
Q 1. FOR HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE TO APPLY BHRINGRAJ OIL?
Ans. You should massage the oil for at least 10 to 15 minutes and leave it on for another half an hour or more for best results.
